A nod to John Steinbeck for the title of this blog site and the subtitle of this particular post. He used both statements to describe himself as a writer and as his personal motto: “Ad Astra Per Alia Porci” – Latin for “To the stars on the wings of a pig.”
I have my own reasons for adopting these phrases. To the stars.
I debated about developing this blog in the first place, for my perception is that most blogs attempt to educate and enlighten – the blogger perceived as an expert in some field (or at least presenting themselves as such).
No, this blog will have more questions than answers. This humble blog will be an expedition, for I am a traveler, an explorer, not an expert. The more I learn, the more I realize I have yet to learn.
